History 

Ø In 1994/95 – all vertical program integrated at central level. HMIS as a centralized system developed in traditional Foxpro language

o   Development and implementation of HMIS was supported by UNFPA technically and financially

Ø In 1995 - field testing in 2 districts (Kaski and Dang)

Ø  In 1996 – training/orientation to managers, service providers and volunteers

Ø In 1996/97 – implementation of HMIS in all 75 districts

Ø In 2001/02 – migration to centralized system in SQL

Ø In 2006/07 – center-based and district based system in SQL

Ø In 2009/10 – center-based SQL and district based in MS-Access

Ø In 2012 – Web-based system
